A Phiolosophy of Balance
The Forestry Action Committee is founded on the philosophy that ecosystem balance can only be created from the bottom up and only by the people occupying that space.
Mission Statement
Improve the health of the Illinois River Basin, its fishery and community by distributing and planting trees and through broad-based, consensus guided programs developed for ecological stewardship, restoration and training.
Vision Statement
To weave the web of relationships between land and people that creates empowerment, beauty and ecosystem balance.
Ground Rules
Open membership, consensus, mutual courtesy and respect.
Our Job
To get the full diversity of our community to the table and find ways to move forward for the community and the environment that no one feels excluded by.
